Dr. Fred Feng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Dr. Feng’s research focuses on advancing safe, sustainable, and just systems for cities and communities through data-driven insights. Dr. Feng earned his B.E. and M.S. at Tsinghua University in China, and his PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Before joining the University of Michigan-Dearborn, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI).
