Positions
Postdoctoral researchers
We typically do not have existing funding to support postdoctoral researchers. If you are interested in joining our group as a postdoctoral researcher, you will most likely need to find self-funding and ask if we can host and work with you.
PhD students
If you are interested in joining our group as a PhD student, you should wait for an open position (see below) and apply. Our Industrial and Systems Engineering PhD program is affiliated with the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan and is administered by the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
The PhD positions are full time and fully funded. Admitted students are guaranteed financial support for up to five years, including tuition, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. The financial support is given in the form of a Graduate Student Research Assistant (GSRA) or a Graduate Student Instructor (GSI). Note you are not required to have a Master’s degree to join our PhD program.
